Processing Supervisor

Heritage Minerals is about to breathe life back into Mount Morgan – we are getting ready to rumble!

Summary:

The Processing Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the processing plant in Mount Morgan, ensuring efficient and safe processing of minerals. This role is crucial for maintaining production targets and quality standards while adhering to health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will lead a team of operators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the processing plant – to be successful you will have relevant CIL experience and be aware of or keen to understand the ReCYN process which is a significant point of difference in this newly built processing plant. If you have ISA mill experience you would be a complete package!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily processing operations to meet production targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Monitor and analyse processing performance, implementing improvements as necessary.
• Lead, train, and develop a team of processing operators, ensuring high levels of engagement and performance.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of production data and reports.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
• Conduct regular inspections of processing equipment and facilities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Understand and promote utilisation of availability and have processing discipline for continuous improvement as part of your DNA

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Cert 3 Minerals Processing
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mineral processing or a similar role within the mining industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in the mining sector.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will enjoy the opportunity to be home every shift working an 8 days on 6 days off 7 nights on 7 nights off roster (8/6, 7/7)
