Housekeeper & Laundry Assistant - Part Time

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our incredible support team as a Housekeeper & Laundry Assistant at Bert Newton Retirement Village in Highett. This is a part time position working:

• Monday 0900 - 1230: Housekeeper, 1300 - 1700: Laundry Assistant
• Tuesday 0900 - 1230: Housekeeper
• Wednesday 0900 - 1230: Housekeeper, 1300 - 1700: Laundry Assistant
• Thursday 0900 - 1230: Housekeeper
• Friday 0900 - 1230: Housekeeper, 1300 - 1700: Laundry Assistant

Our Housekeepers play a crucial role in ensuring our villages are presented to a standard that is good enough for mum and dad. Elevate your housekeeping work with Ryman today!

In this role you will:  

• Deliver fresh towels, make residents beds, collect used towels, supply residents with daily toilet paper and report any issues
• Clean residents apartments when required (however this task is completed by the second housekeeper on duty)
• Work the afternoon shift in the laundry 3 days a week, folding towels, washing, drying and sorting clothing
