About the role

We are seeking experienced machine operators who are capable of:

• Reading and interpreting job cards, drawings and/or specifications to determine job requirements

• Measuring and marking plates according to requirements

• Setting and programming machinery

• Measuring and cross-checking finished product against drawings for accuracy and fit

• Diagnosing faults with the machinery

• Following company safety and quality procedures and guidelines

• Aligning to the Pedco core values

Position Details:

• Fulltime, part-time or casual positions available

• Immediate start available

• 38-hour week minimum with additional hours available Mon - Fri and on Saturday mornings

• Day shift or afternoon shift available

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have previous experience operating a press brake, plate roller, section roller or pipe bender

• Take pride in your work (in quality and efficiency)

• Have a valid forklift licence

• Preferably have previous overhead crane experience

• Previous experience working with steel plates from 5mm up to 40mm would be desirable
