Eastside Fencing is one of Melbourne's largest professional fencing companies. Our office is based in Bayswater, and we provide quality residential fencing to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

With a team of 30+ staff, this is an exciting opportunity to join our team as we continue to grow as a business.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a Casual fencing labourer / factory hand. Working up to 5 days per week you will give support to our Fencing contractors and busy Warehouse team.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting our team of Fencer's in a labour capacity on job sites, including;

• Digging post holes

• Lifting and carrying material

• Cleaning up the site during and after construction

• Assisting our Warehouse Team in the factory, including;

• Organisation of stock within the warehouse

• Unpacking incoming stock / Packing outgoing stock

• Keeping up to date record of stock in factory

• Maintaining and cleaning the warehouse

• General factory duties including tidying, sweeping, cleaning equipment as required

• Painting timber

• Co-ordinating and arranging delivery of extra material to job sites

The Requirements

• No experience is required, however you will be required to have your own vehicle and a strong work ethic

• Previous experience working in a timber yard or construction industry will be highly regarded, so that products are familiar, but not essential as training can be provided

• Drivers license essential

• The ability to work within a team environment as well as unsupervised 

• Your ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and staff at all levels will ensure your success in this role.
