The Venue

The iconic Centennial Homestead is set in the heart of Sydney’s Centennial Park, boasting unsurpassed views over rolling green lawns. We’re seeking a passionate and motivated pastry chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and work alongside an experienced team in a fast-paced, quality driven kitchen.

The Role

• Run the daily operation of the pastry section
• Prepare high-quality pastries, desserts and cakes.
• Maintain excellent standards of presentation, consistency and quality
• Help lead and support the kitchen team during service and production
• Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organisation
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
• Contribute ideas and creativity to our pastry offering

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has solid pastry experience in a professional kitchen
• Is passionate about pastry and committed to producing exceptional food
• Has strong attention to detail and presentation
• Can confidently work in a busy, high-volume environment
• Has leadership skills and enjoys supporting and developing junior team members
• Is organised, reliable and takes pride in their work
• Is eager to grow and progress within the pastry industry
