Clinical Autonomy, Established Support and a Flexible Permanent Role

Bodyfocus is seeking an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist looking for the autonomy to manage their own patients, with the support, referral network and professional connection of an established multidisciplinary practice.

Salary from $105,000 + superannuation, depending on experience (full-time equivalent; pro rata for part-time). Performance based bonus opportunities may also be discussed during the interview process.

Days and hours will be agreed before commencement based on your availability and practice needs. We recognise that experienced clinicians may have existing professional and personal commitments.

You will have access to established referral pathways and will be supported to build a consistent caseload progressively.

How We Practise

Our physiotherapists help patients understand their condition, establish meaningful functional goals and work through a clear, staged recovery plan.

Appropriate hands on treatment is combined with active rehabilitation, education and progressive rebuilding of capacity. Treatment and follow up are guided by clinical need, recovery stage, response to treatment and patient goals, with the aim of building confidence, function and ultimately independence.

We do not expect every clinician to practise identically. We do expect thoughtful clinical reasoning, clear communication, collaborative care and a commitment to meaningful patient outcomes.

About You

You are an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist who is comfortable making independent clinical decisions and enjoys building strong therapeutic relationships.

You will bring:

• Strong musculoskeletal assessment and clinical reasoning

• Manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation skills

• Confidence developing staged rehabilitation plans linked to functional goals

• Ownership of treatment planning, patient communication and continuity, with active monitoring of patient progress

• High standards of documentation and referrer communication

• A collaborative and reflective approach to practice

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist

• Demonstrated experience independently managing a musculoskeletal private-practice caseload

• Current Australian working rights
