Area Sales Manager - Industrial Solutions

This role is ideal for a technical sales professional who thrives in solution-based selling and wants exposure to high-level OEM clients — or an experienced Territory Manager looking to reduce extensive regional travel while still managing a significant, high-value territory.

The territory is predominantly Melbourne Metro, with regional travel required once per quarter.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and grow a high-potential territory across Melbourne Metro
• Manage and develop key OEM accounts (50%)
• Drive new business acquisition and project wins (50%)
• Identify and convert specification opportunities within automotive, heavy equipment and agricultural OEMs
• Manage complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
• Build long-term strategic relationships with engineering, procurement and operations teams
• Maintain strong pipeline management, forecasting and territory planning

What You Bring

• Proven experience in technical, solution-based B2B sales
• Experience working with OEMs or within industrial, automotive, heavy equipment or agricultural sectors
• Strong commercial drive with the ability to uncover and close growth opportunities
• Confidence navigating long sales cycles and technical conversations
• Self-sufficient, disciplined and highly organised
• A proactive, results-focused mindset
