Recycling Drivers Coolaroo

Role Details

Routes: Collecting from our Customer network delivering to Visy sites in Melbourne and outer Melbourne regional areas.

Locations: Based out of Coolaroo Depot.

Hours: 5am start 10-12hour shifts 5 days per week (optional Saturday and Sunday work)

What you'll do

• Operating Heavy Rigid rear lift waste collection vehicles performing collections of Recyclable materials from our network of Customers, throughout Greater Brisbane and Gold Coast.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.\
• Ensure timely and efficient collections and delivery of materials, maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Accurately complete in-cab electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Collection of CDS containers.

What You Will Bring

• A valid HR Licence with minimum of 2 years’ recent Australian driving experience.
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
