Architect – Modular Design & Documentation

We are seeking an Architect (Modular Design & Documentation) to join our team. This role is ideal for an architect who is passionate about innovative construction methods, prefabrication, and delivering high-quality documentation that supports efficient project delivery.

You will play a key role in the design and documentation of modular buildings across Education, Health and Housing, ensuring projects are buildable and compliant. Working closely with clients, consultants, manufacturers, and project teams, you will help transform concepts into well-documented, production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed design and construction documentation suitable for manufacturing and onsite assembly.

• Produce high-quality working drawings, schedules, specifications, and technical details.

• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other consultants.

• Ensure compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC), Australian Standards, local codes and policies.

• Participate in client meetings, design workshops, and project presentations.

• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in modular design methodologies and documentation standards.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Registered Architect

• Minimum 5 years' experience in architectural design and documentation.

• Strong proficiency in Revit, BIM and Clash Detection.

• Demonstrated experience producing detailed construction documentation.

• Excellent understanding of Australian building regulations and construction practices.

• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable

• Experience in modular, prefabricated, or off-site construction.

• Knowledge of manufacturing, fabrication, or Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles.

• Experience with Government Projects - Education, Health and Housing.
