About the role

We have 1x full time position working Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm. 1x part-time position working Monday to Wednesday, 9:00am–5:00pm, with the opportunity to pick up additional days for the right candidate. Your role will involve a variety of clinical duties in a busy and supportive medical environment at Gympie Day and Evening Clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Vaccinations and immunisations

• Wound care and dressings

• Health assessments

• Chronic disease management and care plans

• Assisting with clinical procedures

• Patient education and support

• Working collaboratively with doctors and the wider medical centre team

• Maintaining a high standard of clinical care and patient safety

About you

• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

• Legal right to work in Australia

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A caring and professional approach to patients

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• A willingness to learn and develop your clinical skills

• Previous experience in general practice or a medical centre environment is preferred but not essential
