CHEF AND HALL STAFF

STAFF WANTED – KOREAN BBQ RESTAURANT | MELBOURNE CBD

We are currently looking for experienced and reliable staff to join our Korean BBQ restaurant team in Melbourne CBD.

We are hiring for both KITCHEN STAFF and HALL STAFF.

KITCHEN STAFF

We are looking for kitchen staff who have previous experience working in a busy restaurant environment.

Requirements:

• Previous WOK cooking experience is required
• Experience in a Korean, Asian, Chinese or similar restaurant is preferred
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen
• Able to follow recipes, food preparation procedures and kitchen instructions
• Good teamwork and communication
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Able to maintain a clean and organised workstation
• Food safety awareness is preferred

Working Hours:

• 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM

There is a break between the lunch and dinner shifts.

HALL STAFF

We are looking for experienced front-of-house staff who can provide friendly and professional service to customers.

Requirements:

• Previous restaurant hall / front-of-house experience is required
• Fluent English is required
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Able to explain menu items and restaurant procedures
• Able to work in a busy restaurant environment
• Good teamwork and communication with kitchen and other staff
• Reliable, punctual and responsible
• Well-presented and professional

Working Hours:

• 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• Some shifts may finish around 1:00 AM depending on the restaurant closing duties and business level.

PAY & STAFF BENEFITS

Weekday Pay Rate: $26.44 per hour

Weekend Rate: Different weekend rate applies.

Staff Meals: Staff meal is provided during every shift.

Uniform: Restaurant uniform is provided.

Sponsorship: Sponsorship opportunities are available for suitable candidates.
