We are now looking for a Logistics Manager to join our DC team located in Zillmere, Brisbane.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end inbound freight journey, ensuring our product moves efficiently from our global suppliers through to our warehouse and international wholesale destinations.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and knows how to keep global freight moving. You’ll manage freight forwarder and logistics partner relationships, coordinate international shipments, oversee customs and shipping documentation, and maintain clear visibility across delivery timelines, costs and potential risks.
Working closely with our Production, Operations and Finance teams, you’ll play an important role in ensuring stock arrives where it needs to be, when it needs to be, while continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and drive cost efficiencies.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Inbound Freight & Shipping
Manage end-to-end inbound freight from supplier dispatch through to final delivery
Coordinate international shipments into our warehouse and directly to wholesale destinations
Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure shipments are booked in line with production readiness and delivery requirements
Track inbound shipments and maintain clear visibility across delivery timelines, status and potential risks
Proactively manage freight delays, shipment issues and exceptions to minimise disruption
Coordinate direct-to-wholesale shipments, ensuring appropriate routing and delivery timelines
Freight Partners & Cost Management
Manage relationships with freight forwarders and logistics partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective service
Negotiate freight rates, service terms and delivery solutions with logistics partners
Monitor freight performance, landed costs, delivery timelines and partner reliability
Identify opportunities to improve freight efficiency and reduce costs across inbound and wholesale delivery flows
Review and validate freight, customs and supplier invoices before submission to Finance
Customs & Documentation
Ensure commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations and other shipping documentation are accurate and compliant
Manage customs clearance processes across multiple international regions
Ensure shipments meet relevant import requirements for each destination
Troubleshoot documentation and clearance issues to avoid unnecessary delays
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner closely with Product, Production and Operations teams to align freight activity with production and business timelines
Work with warehouse and wholesale partners to support smooth stock intake and receipt
Maintain clear communication across internal teams regarding shipment status, delays and delivery risks
Escalate risks, constraints and trade-offs early to support effective business decision-making
Support continuous improvement initiatives across inbound logistics processes
ABOUT YOU
3+ years’ experience in logistics, freight, supply chain or shipping management, ideally within fashion, apparel or consumer products
Experience managing international inbound freight and working with global suppliers
Strong understanding of freight forwarding, customs clearance and international shipping documentation
Confident managing freight forwarder and logistics partner relationships
Strong commercial mindset with experience reviewing freight costs and negotiating rates
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines and priorities
Confident problem solver who can respond quickly when freight plans change
Comfortable working cross-functionally across Product, Production, Operations, Finance and external partners
Strong Excel skills and experience with relevant production, supply chain or tracking systems
Knowledge of ethical sourcing, environmental regulations and sustainable supply chains will be highly regarded
