Chef de partie / Junior Sous Chef

C BAR, located at Townsville's iconic The Strand, currently has a full-time job opening for a Chef De Partie / Junior Sous Chef for immediate start.

Operating 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the C BAR menu reflects the contemporary nature of Townsville's dining scene and utilizes fresh, local and premium produce from around Australia and abroad. The existing brigade are highly motivated and experienced.

The ideal candidate will have Australian trade or equivalent qualifications and will have previous experience as a either chef de partie or sous chef in a small to medium sized, fast paced a la carte kitchen. Reporting to the Head Chef, the ideal candidate would have an understanding of ordering, stock control, team management, OH&S, environmental health, communication, and quality assurance, but more importantly, the successful person will enjoy cooking, and being part of an energetic and passionate group of people who enjoy the hospitality industry.
