Machine Operator

Employal Recruitment is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a well-established specialist artist paint manufacturer based in the Mt Kuring-gai / Hornsby area. This position offers consistent full-time hours, a supportive small-team environment, and the opportunity to secure a permanent role with a long-standing Australian business.

Operating within a production environment, you will be responsible for managing an automatic tube-filling line used to produce artist paint products. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys routine, takes pride in quality workmanship, and prefers a steady, methodical pace of work.

 
Duties may involve the following:

• Set up and operate the automatic filling line at the commencement of each shift.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain consistent production output.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues as required.
• Complete quality checks throughout the production process, including filling, sealing, date stamping, and packing.
• Work safely and efficiently within company procedures.

Hours on offer are 8am to 4pm, must have own transport or live local.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience operating production machinery or filling line equipment.
• Experience within cosmetics, personal care, paint, sealants, chemical manufacturing, or similar production environments highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Comfortable working within a small team environment.
• Full Australian working rights.

Additional Information

• Mt Kuring-gai / Hornsby area
• Full time permanent position for the right candidate
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm
• $34.00 per hour
• Immediate start available
