Worldline Service Australia (WSA) delivers end-to-end payment services and technology support to Worldline clients within the Australian market. Our team focuses on ensuring reliable payment processing, proactive service management, and a superior customer experience through robust operations, incident response, and continuous improvement.

Our Team

The Service Delivery function provides operational governance, customer engagement and IT Service Management capability for Worldline Service Australia. The team is responsible for ensuring payment services remain stable, resilient and continuously improving through effective operational processes, customer governance and service assurance.

Your mission

Lead, manage and perform the testing capability for Worldline Services Australia by ensuring appropriate testing governance, environment management, test execution and quality assurance across all technology changes. The role is accountable for maintaining fit-for-purpose test environments, coordinating testing activities, validating offshore testing outcomes and ensuring changes meet functional, operational and customer quality expectations before implementation.

We are looking for an energetic hands on test lead with experience in payments solutions and exposure to banking and finance organisations.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities

Test Strategy & Governance

Develop and maintain the WSA Test Strategy.Establish testing standards, governance and quality gates.Define testing entry and exit criteria.Develop testing metrics and reporting.

Test Environment Management

Own all non-production environments.Coordinate environment availability across projects.Manage environment scheduling and conflicts.Coordinate environment refreshes and test data.Monitor environment stability and availability.

Test Planning & Execution

Develop test plans and schedules.Coordinate system, integration and regression testing.Perform testing where local execution is required.Support User Acceptance Testing.Manage defects through to resolution.

Offshore Testing Quality Assurance\

Review offshore test plans and test cases.Validate test evidence and quality.Ensure adequate regression testing has been completed.Recommend production readiness.

Payments & Operational Testing

Coordinate testing across merchant acquiring platforms.Validate payment terminal, gateway and settlement changes.Support ServiceNow, reporting, customer portal and workflow automation testing.

Reporting

Produce testing dashboards and executive reporting.Report on quality metrics, defects, environment availability and production readiness

Who Are We Looking For

You come from a payments or financial services background and are keen to hit the ground running. Strong analytical thinker ready to work in a fast paced environment who is familiar with the challenges of testing in complex environments.

Experience

Essential

Significant experience leading software testing.

Experience managing test environments.

Strong SDLC knowledge.

Experience reviewing offshore testing.

Excellent stakeholder management.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Highly Desirable

Payments or merchant acquiring experience.

ServiceNow.

Jira and Confluence.

API and integration testing.

Test automation.

Agile delivery.

ITIL Foundation.

Qualifications

Essential

Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.

Desirable

ISTQB Test Manager or Advanced Test Analyst.
