Job Description:

Wickhams Group are a dynamic and growing business in the Transport, agriculture, property and manufacturing sectors. With operations expanding and commitment to efficiency and service, we're looking for a dedicated Accounts-Admin Officer to support our Corporate Services team.

The role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, working across a range of accounting function and gain exposure to various aspects of the business.

This role is part time (25-30 hours) based in Warwick (QLD) and will require the successful candidate to also work from our other premise based in Killarney QLD (20 mins travel time from Warwick).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of reconciliations including bank, petty cash, and general ledger.
• Manage daily receipting and Pronto debtor's follow-up and AR collections
• Oversee credit card reconciliation and Concur reporting, ensuring timely employee expense processing
• Maintain and update cash reporting to reflect actual movements
• Conduct three-way reconciliations across the plant register, fixed asset register and insurance register
• Support timely month-end and year-end processes
• Provide general support across finance functions and assist with ad hoc duties as required

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Tertiary Qualifications and/or a minimum of three years of accounting experience/ knowledge
• Computer skills with ability to operate all MS Office Application with intermediate to advance excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.)
• Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with Corporate and Front Line Managers.
• Operational understanding of the Agricultural industry.
• Strong Accounting knowledge and experience working in multi-company businesses.
• Clear problem solver, proven ability to apply logic or reasoning to review information, identify problems, their causes, evaluate options and select the best solution
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, including high attention to detail
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Pronto
• Willing to learn and take direction
