About the Role
The Marketing & Communications Manager executes marketing, communications, media and events from the Sydney office and supports global initiatives across all Hall Chadwick offices. The role builds the firm's profile domestically and internationally, ensures brand consistency across all offices and touchpoints (including as a member of PrimeGlobal), and works directly with the Operations Director and Global COO and partners to align marketing delivery with the firm's broader operational and strategic plans. The role also leads global internal communications, keeping the business connected on opportunities, campaigns, trends and key developments, and helping to drive stronger commercial outcomes across the firm.
Responsibilities
Execute the company’s annual marketing and social media strategy, including content calendars, channel selection, posting and engagement goals.Maintain and update website content, ensuring information stays current and consistent.Ensure PrimeGlobal brand requirements (including correct colours and style) are maintained across stationery, websites and marketing brochures for all Hall Chadwick offices.Prepare marketing collateral and pitch materials in line with firm templates, including creation of new roll-up banners for offices as required.Execute brand reputation strategy.Run regular Brand and Reputation audits.Champion and measure improvement process for internal communication across global offices.Develop and manage press and media plans with global release schedules; coordinate press outreach, embargoes and media kits for thought leadership pieces and event announcements.Draft marketing material and social media releases for sign-off by the Chairperson prior to publication on National and social channels.Format and distribute the corporate newsletter (as supplied by GAAP Consulting), coordinating author attribution across all states, and train a back-up person on the relevant software.Draft media releases for firm publications and rankings (e.g. industry Top 100 listings) and coordinate release to the Chairperson and states ahead of publication.Manage SEO/SEM initiatives across firm websites, including keyword strategy, on-page optimisation and paid search campaigns, to improve visibility and drive qualified traffic.Manage the firm's reputational marketing, including monitoring and growing client reviews and ratings (e.g. Google, LinkedIn), tracking broader brand sentiment, and coordinating a considered response to any reputational issues as they arise.Collate data across states for industry surveys and rankings (e.g. Top 100 listings, PrimeGlobal surveys) and liaise with the relevant review bodies.Track and analyse marketing and media performance, including social metrics, press pickup, email opens/clicks, event attendance and enquiry volume; and compile monthly and quarterly summaries.Prepare and submit marketing reports to National Board meetings on a timely basis (up to four times a year).Support planning and execution of client meetings, conferences and stakeholder events, including venues, catering, guest lists, RSVPs and run-of-show logistic, both locally and overseas.Prepare event materials such as signage, agendas, name badges and delegate packs.Coordinate post-event deliverables, including attendance lists, contact follow-ups, feedback notes and action tracking.Organise Global Partners Conference with assistance from the Sydney representative to the National Board.Follow up sponsors for payment of sponsorship fees.Ensure staff and Partners are registered with PrimeGlobal when they join the firm and delisted when they leave.Follow up Hall Chadwick's overseas offices for documentation such as licence agreements.Ensure PrimeGlobal event registrations for Sydney Partners are completed on a timely basis, working with the relevant EA to arrange payment of registration fees.Liaise with the Chairperson of the National Audit Committee to support timely lodgement of the annual transparency report with ASIC once appropriately signed off.Pass on new Partner details to the Chairperson and their EA to support timely preparation of welcome letters.Attend Teams sessions with Marketing Managers from other offices around the country and attend National Board meetings when requested by the Chairperson.Keep Global COO updated on matters affecting marketing, media and communications.
Qualifications
5+ years in media, communications and events.Strong stakeholder management skills, able to work across multiple states and offices and liaise confidently with Partners and the Chairperson.High level of discretion and sound judgement working closely with firm leadership.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior and executive stakeholders across global offices and markets.Deep work ethics and willingness to work on tasks outside of written description.Open to travel and able to work hours aligning with US and UK timezones.Extensive experience in marketing, communications or media within a professional services environment (accounting, legal or advisory firm experience highly regarded).Strong writing, editing and media/press liaison skills.Proven event management experience, from planning through to post-event reporting.Confident working across social media platforms and website content management systems.Comfortable analysing and reporting on marketing and media performance data.
Required Skills
Candidates with less experience but a keen willingness to tackle the role will be considered for manager position.
