About the role

The Attachment Space - North Brisbane Psychology is seeking a compassionate and reliable Psychologist to join our growing team in Clontarf, QLD. This is a casual position that offers flexibility whilst making a meaningful impact on clients' mental health and wellbeing. You will work in a supportive, collaborative environment dedicated to providing high-quality psychological services to our diverse client base. What you'll be doing

• Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns

• Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic approaches

• Providing direct psychological interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducational sessions

• Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical documentation and client records in compliance with regulatory requirements

• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and referral sources to ensure holistic client care

• Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed to optimise outcomes

• Contributing to the development and refinement of clinical protocols and best practice standards

• Attending clinical supervision and professional development activities to maintain and enhance clinical competency

What we're looking for

• Current registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia

• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or equivalent qualification, with completion of AHPRA-approved psychological training

• Postgraduate qualifications or specialist training in areas such as clinical psychology, counselling psychology, or related disciplines (highly valued)

• Demonstrated experience in providing psychological assessment and therapeutic interventions

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and contemporary psychological practice

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations

• Proficiency in clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health record systems

• A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards and codes of conduct

• High level of cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse backgrounds and experiences

• Experience working with attachment-related issues, trauma, or relational difficulties (preferred)
