The Directorate provides school education services to children and young people both directly through public schools and indirectly through regulation of non-government schools and home education.
Our vision is that we will be a leading learning organisation where people know they matter. We focus on creating capable, resilient, and active citizens by placing students at the centre, empowering learning professionals, building strong communities, and systems that support learning.
The Directorate is committed to building a culturally diverse workforce and an inclusive workplace. As part of this commitment, we strongly encourage people from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background, and/or people with a disability, to apply.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Enrolments Officer is responsible for delivering high-quality enrolment services and specialist administrative support that underpin the effective management of student enrolments and transition processes across the college. Working under the general direction of the Business Manager and Operations Manager, and in collaboration with the Student Services Team, the role ensures enrolment processes are administered accurately and in accordance with ACT Education Directorate policies, procedures and legislative requirements.
The position provides responsive advice and support to students, families, carers and staff, maintains accurate student records, manages enrolment data and reporting, and contributes to strategic planning and continuous improvement through the effective use of business systems and technology.
The Enrolments Officer exercises initiative, sound judgement and strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities, build productive stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality customer service.
The role also provides cross-functional administrative support to the school's staffing function during the absence of the Staffing Officer and contributes to the effective operation of the Careers Office through the delivery of administrative and operational support for careers and transition programs.
This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a busy school environment.
