Height Safety Specialist - Brisbane/Mackay QLD

The Role

Are you a driven business development professional with a passion for building relationships, identifying opportunities, and opening new markets? We're seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Business Development Manager to spearhead growth across Queensland from our Brisbane Office.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who has worked construction business development before (ideally in inspection services or installation), has a great attitude and is passionate about ensuring smooth delivery of service.

This is a full time permanent opportunity based in Brisbane or Mackay.

What You'll Be Doing

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across Queensland.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in construction, mining, & industrial sectors.
• Develop and execute market growth strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and handover.
• Engage with key decision-makers, project managers, asset owners, and procurement teams.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in a Business Development or Sales role within construction, mining, industrial services, or a related sector.
• Exposure to rope access services, IRATA environments, or specialist access solutions would be highly advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert opportunities.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomously.
• Methodical and organised approach to managing a sales pipeline.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Queensland as required.
