Project Engineer (Mechanical)

Interquip is a division of MACA Ltd and is a multi-disciplinary company with a proven track record in delivering small to large scale EPC and EPCM projects for the resources sector specializing in the design and construction of mineral processing for clients across Australia.

The Project Engineer is a West Perth based role providing technical support and guidance to the Project Manager and project team, in managing and coordinating work packages across Structural/Mechanical/Piping (SMP) construction project. Some site travel is anticipated depending upon project status.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting Project Manager.

• Overall project planning and scheduling.

• Assist in managing project budget.

• Ensuring the requirements of the contracts are being satisfied.

• Contribute to the timely delivery of packages to site.

• Review design documentation and raise issues where appropriate

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering qualification (Mechanical) or equivalent professional knowledge gained through significant experience working in a similar role.

• Sound written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills.

• Good interpersonal skills with people at all levels.

• Minimum four (4) years of experience in construction projects (SMP).

• Experience in mining/resources construction projects is required.

• Australian work rights are required for this position.
