Kinetic Medicine
About the role
Taree & Gloucester NSW
Full-time, permanent · Relocation support · Bonus structure available
A role for a clinician who’s ready for more - more autonomy, more clinical breadth, and a genuine path forward.
At Kinetic Medicine, we’re an Exercise Physiology–led allied health practice operating across regional NSW. We exist to put Accredited Exercise Physiologists at the centre of health and disability care, not at the edges of it. If you’ve got real clinical skill and you’re ready to use it with more independence and a wider scope than your current role allows, this is worth a look.
We’re recruiting an AEP to be based in our Taree clinic, with work also in our Gloucester. This is a full-time, permanent position - certainty you can plan a life around.
What’s on the table
• Be the healthcare leader you want to be - Our Exercise Physiologists are frequently the clinical lead in a patient's care, providing expert insight into our local broader healthcare communities.
• Industry leading remuneration - with where you land in the band reflecting your experience, and potential for additional incentives based on performance.
• Relocation support - if you’re considering a move to the region, we’re happy to talk through what that looks like and help make it tailored to your needs.
• Real clinical breadth - pain and mental health (including workplace rehabilitation), exercise oncology, cardiac and respiratory care, complex musculoskeletal and disability presentations. You won’t be doing the same three referral types on repeat.
• A genuine progression path - we’re a growth-minded practice, and we’d rather develop leaders internally than recruit them in. There’s room to grow into clinical or leadership responsibility and we've got the track record to prove it.
Who we’re looking for
• An ESSA-registered AEP. Two or more years’ experience suits the role well, though we’ll consider strong candidates across experience levels.
• A clinician who wants to grow a caseload and the resources to manage it well, with full admin support and clinical supervision.
• Someone with strong communication skills, a collaborative approach, and a real commitment to patient-centred care.
• A practitioner comfortable with technology and innovation, and keen to help shape how modern allied health is delivered.
What you’ll do
• Deliver high-quality clinical exercise physiology across health, disability and rehabilitation contexts, working across funding schemes so people get the care they need regardless of funder.
• Develop and lead tailored care and treatment plans that build independence, confidence and quality of life.
• Contribute to a practice that’s actively expanding the role of AEPs in the Australian health system.
Thinking about a move to the region?
The Mid North Coast offers something the cities increasingly can’t: genuine work-life balance, a lower cost of living, and a community where a skilled health professional has real standing and impact. Mountains, rainforests and waterways are minutes from work. If relocating is on your mind, we’ll help you think it through and leverage our resources to make your dream move a reality.
Ready to talk? You don’t need a formal application to start
The easiest first step is simply to email us at ••••@kineticmedicine.com.au and send your CV if you have one handy, or just a few lines about yourself. No cover letter needed. John (our founder) will personally get back to you within two business days to organise a quick, no-pressure chat about the role and whether it’s a fit.
Currently working and just exploring your options? Reach out confidentially - a no-obligation conversation, completely between us. Nothing goes further unless you want it to.
Prefer to apply formally through SEEK? You’re welcome to do that too, but a quick email is all it takes to get the conversation started.
