About the role

We’re after a Dental Assistant to join our Robina Village team full-time. The roster runs Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 7:30am to 5:15pm (6:15pm on Thursdays), with a 30-minute break each day, 38 hours a week. Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays are yours. You’ll split your time between chairside support and sterilisation, with reception backup when the front desk needs an extra hand, across a mix of general and cosmetic dentistry including Invisalign.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting chairside: passing instruments, using suction, and taking digital X-rays
• Preparing instruments and materials for each patient’s treatment
• Following our infection control protocols, including cleaning, sterilising and storing instruments, and keeping sterilisation records
• Setting up and packing down treatment rooms and the sterilisation room each day
• Welcoming and settling patients, and answering their questions where you can
• Helping out on reception when the team needs an extra hand

What we’re looking for

Essential

• At least 1 year’s experience as a Dental Assistant
• Confident with infection control protocols and a current first aid certificate (or willing to update it)
• Up to date immunisations
• Professional presentation and a genuine team player

Preferred

• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly regarded)
• Experience assisting with Invisalign or cosmetic treatments (highly regarded)
• Some reception experience
