Remedial technicians & Labourers

Amalgamated Group is seeking remedial technicians and Labourers to join our growing Gold Coast team.

The Opportunity - IMMEDIATE START!

We currently have casual positions available with the Gold Coast team. Full-time opportunity for the right candidate. You will work on commercial buildings, apartments and large-scale remedial projects, learning practical skills across concrete repairs, expansion joint repairs, waterproofing, coatings, patching and other building repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Concrete repairs and crack repairs

• Concrete spalling repairs

• Waterproofing and membrane applications

• Grinding, preparation and surface repairs

• Caulking and sealant works

• High-pressure cleaning and surface preparation

• Assisting with remedial and painting works

• Using hand and power tools

• Working from EWP, scaffolding and other access equipment

• General construction labouring and site clean-up

• Working alongside experienced remedial technicians and supervisors

We're looking for people who are:

• Reliable and turns up ready to work

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

• Hands-on and mechanically minded

• Willing to learn new skills

• Safety-focused

• Able to work well as part of a team

• Comfortable working at heights

• Has a White Card

• Has a current driver's licence and reliable transport

• Previous construction, painting, rendering, concreting or maintenance experience is an advantage
