Front of House - Half Moon Brighton

We are seeking an experienced Front of House to join our front-of-house team. This hands-on role suits a genuine hospitality professional who enjoys fast-paced service and takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences. You will work closely with our front-of-house team and senior kitchen staff to deliver smooth, attentive service across everything from a relaxed Sunday roast and busy Friday night through to bespoke private dining events.
  
What You’ll Do

• Deliver friendly, knowledgeable and attentive service across the dining room, bar and function spaces
• Guide guests through the food and beverage menus, confidently providing tailored recommendations
• Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and organisation of your section to a high standard
• Assist with the set-up and delivery of private functions, events and weekly specials
• Build strong relationships with guests and contribute to a welcoming, professional venue atmosphere

• At least two years’ experience as wait staff in a premium pub, high-volume restaurant or similar hospitality environment
• A genuine appreciation for quality food and beverage
• Confidence discussing menus with guests, including an understanding of wine styles, standard culinary terminology and service standards
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with local regulars, colleagues and guests
• A collaborative, team-first approach across front-of-house and kitchen operations
• A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate
• Availability to work across weekdays, evenings and weekends
