Due to continued growth, they are seeking two enthusiastic and customer-focused Trade Counter Salespeople to join their team on a permanent full-time basis — one position based at Edwardstown and one position based in the Adelaide CBD.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and being part of a supportive, close-knit team. Alongside trade counter sales, the role will also involve assisting with order processing, stock handling, and picking customer orders when required.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, with shifts either 6:00am – 3:00pm or 7:30am – 4:30pm.

About the Role

As the first point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service to trade and retail customers
• Processing sales, quotes, and customer orders
• Providing product advice and support
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Answering phone enquiries in a professional manner
• Picking and preparing customer orders
• Assisting with general stock and warehouse duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in trade counter sales, internal sales, retail sales, or customer service (building industry experience highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A confident and professional phone manner
• A strong customer-first approach
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
• Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
• A proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A good level of physical fitness to assist with order picking and stock handling

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
