About the role
Dogdayz Boarding Kennel is growing, and we’re looking for experienced, mature and genuinely committed people to join our teams at Warrandyte, Silvan or Lysterfield.
This is not a short-term casual job or a “holiday job.” We are looking for people who want to build a career in the pet-care industry and who have the capability, reliability and attitude to take on increasing responsibility over time.
Confidence with animals is essential - and 'Must Love Dogs'. We would value other relevant skills - maintenance or admin experience.
About the role:Working at Dogdayz is hands-on, active and rewarding. Our team is responsible for providing exceptional care to dogs staying with us, while maintaining the high standards our clients expect.
Your day may include:
Caring for and supervising dogs throughout their stay
Feeding, exercising and monitoring individual dogs
Maintaining clean, safe and well-presented facilities
For the right person, the role can develop beyond day-to-day kennel work, with opportunities to take on leadership, operational and management responsibilities.
Who we're looking for:We want people who are looking for more than just a job. You'll ideally have:
Some professional background in animal care
Strong communication and organisational skills
Enthusiasm working as part of a team and taking responsibility
Experience is highly valued, but attitude, reliability and leadership potential matter just as much.
