Owners Corporation Manager

About the role

You'll manage your own portfolio of residential and mixed-use Owners Corporations. As your knowledge and experience develop, you'll be encouraged to take genuine ownership of your portfolio, make decisions, build strong client relationships and become a trusted adviser to your Owners Corporation committees. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues while you develop your knowledge and confidence. No two days are quite the same — you'll deal with property, people, finance, legislation, maintenance and problem-solving, often all in the same day.

Key responsibilities

• Building strong, professional relationships with Owners Corporation committees, owners and contractors

• Preparing annual budgets and financial information

• Conducting Annual General Meetings and working closely with committees

• Providing practical advice and guidance on Owners Corporation legislation and governance

• Coordinating maintenance, repairs and projects involving common property

• Liaising with contractors and overseeing works

• Identifying maintenance, compliance and other issues before they become bigger problems

• Responding to client enquiries and helping resolve sometimes complex issues

• Managing the day-to-day requirements of your portfolio

• Becoming a trusted adviser to your clients rather than simply an administrator

• Previous Owners Corporation management experience would be an advantage but is not essential
