Key responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes
• Mix and match paints and colours as required
• Apply paint, primer, and other coatings to walls, ceilings, doors, and other surfaces
• Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment safely and correctly
• Protect floors, furniture, and other areas from paint
• Ensure all painting work is neat, clean, and completed to a high standard
• Follow workplace health and safety rules
• Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
• Work according to project schedules and instructions from supervisors
