Currently we are looking for a friendly and hardworking Internal Audit with a minimum 3 years of experience to join us.
Key Responsibilities: including but not limited to
• End-to-End Audit Delivery: Lead and execute risk-based internal audit engagements across Branch operations in accordance with the approved Annual Audit Plan and internal audit methodologies.
• Control Assessment & Testing: Design comprehensive audit programs and execute detailed testing to evaluate the design adequacy and operational effectiveness of internal controls against internal policies, Group standards, and external regulatory requirements.
• Workpaper & Report Drafting: Prepare clear and standardized audit workpapers (including process walkthroughs, control narratives, flowchart mappings, and testing procedures). Draft audit observations and executive-ready audit reports.
• Fieldwork & PBC Facilitation: Act as the primary operational bridge between external service providers and local business units—managing information requests (PBC), overseeing document collection workflows, pre-screening for completeness and format, and coordinating interviews, walkthroughs, and meetings.
• Issue Remediation & Independent Validation: Maintain centralized tracking register of items arising from audit and review engagements. Proactively track remediation milestones, evaluate implementation evidence, and perform independent validation testing to support formal issue closure.
• Head Office Audit Engagement Support: Coordinate for on-site/desktop Head Office audit engagements by managing end-to-end PBC data collation, pre-screening for completeness and format, scheduling stakeholder interviews, and facilitating finding clearance discussions.
• Head Office Periodic Reporting and Ad-Hoc Task Management: Prepare and deliver bilingual periodic reporting packs to Head Office Internal Audit. Promptly coordinate and execute ad-hoc inquiries, thematic control reviews, and special tasks requested by Head Office.
• Vendor Performance and Budget Control: Monitor outsourced internal audit service provider’s work progress against agreed timeline and deliverables, conduct periodic service quality and performance evaluation.
Qualifications and expectations of the successful candidate:
• 3-5 years’ experience from the internal/external audit experience within an Australian ADI, Big 4 banking assurance practice, or international financial institution.
• Bachelor degree or above in the relevant disciplines.
• CA/CPA Australia/CIA certificate is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of auditing standards and regulatory framework.
• Proven hands-on capacity to conduct full audit lifecycles independently.
• Strong bilingual English and Mandarin oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, communication and coordination skills.
