English and Literature Teacher

Kilvington Grammar School is an independent ELC–12 co-educational school in Melbourne, renowned for its strong academic program, inclusive culture, and commitment to developing the whole student.

We are seeking an outstanding English and Literature Teacher to join our dynamic English Faculty from Term 1, 2027. This is a full-time, ongoing position.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach English to Years 7 - 12.

• Demonstrate proven expertise in the delivery of VCE English.

• Have experience in teaching VCE English Literature.

• Bring a passion for inspiring and engaging students in their English studies.

• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.

• Contribute to the wider life of the School through co-curricular and pastoral care programs.

About You

• VIT registration (or eligibility) is essential.

• A proven track record of student success in VCE English and VCE English Literature.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills.

• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and the School’s values.
