Network Development Manager

About the role

Ducati is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Network Development Manager to support the continued growth and evolution of our dealer network. Responsible for the planning, development, and optimisation of Ducati's retail footprint, this role will ensure the network remains commercially sustainable, client-focused, and aligned with our long-term business objectives. While supporting and enhancing Ducati's established on-road dealer network, a key focus will be the continued development of our presence in the off-road segment. Working closely with existing and prospective dealer partners, the successful candidate will identify growth opportunities, strengthen network capability, and help deliver a high-performing dealer network equipped to support Ducati's future success across an evolving motorcycle market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute Ducati's dealer network strategy to support current and future business objectives.

• Identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for dealer appointments, relocations, consolidations, and succession planning.

• Lead dealer selection, appointment, and onboarding processes.

• Conduct market analysis and network planning to identify coverage gaps and growth opportunities.

• Monitor dealer network performance and develop action plans to improve capability and business outcomes.

• Support dealers in meeting Ducati's retail, facility, and brand standards.

• Manage dealer development projects, including facility upgrades, showroom initiatives, and corporate identity implementation, particularly with emerging off-road network.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer principals and key stakeholders.

• Evaluate dealership business plans and investment proposals.

• Prepare network development reports, business cases, and strategic recommendations for senior management.

About you

• Sound knowledge of dealer retail operations

• Time management and project flow

• Sound knowledge of local franchise laws

• Analysis of data to identify opportunities

• Ability to communicate effectively within the OU and with dealer partners

• Sound knowledge of building plans and general construction flow
