Verandah Installer — Carpenter / Roof Plumber (Steel Frame)

About the role

You'll be installing steel-frame verandahs and patios on homes across metro Adelaide, with the option of away work on the Yorke Peninsula, at Goolwa and in the Clare Valley if that suits you. Day to day, that means:

• Setting out and installing engineered verandahs to the drawings — posts, beams, rafters, the lot

• Fixing insulated and single-skin roof sheeting, gutters, flashings and downpipes

• Tying structures into existing fascia, walls and roof lines

• Working alongside our production team on check measures, deliveries and hand-over - you're never left on your own to sort it out

• Finishing to a standard you'd put your own name on. The last 5% matters to us as much as the first 95%.

Key responsibilities

• Setting out and installing posts, beams, rafters and purlins to engineered drawings

• Fixing insulated and single-skin roof sheeting, gutters, flashings and downpipes

• Attaching structures to existing fascia, walls and roof lines

• Knowing when something on site doesn't match the plan

• Working with our production team on check measures, deliveries and hand-over

• Finishing the job to a standard you'd put your own name on

About you

• A qualified carpenter who's built verandahs, patios or carports on existing homes, or a qualified roof plumber who's comfortable with the structural side, not just the sheeting, or an experienced verandah installer without a trade ticket but with a proven track record — a few years of steel-frame installs and work you can show us

• High confidence with steel-frame systems — box beam and SHS posts

• Own ABN, own vehicle and basic tools

• SA Building Work Contractor licence or roof plumbing licence

• Pride in your work and outcomes
