We're bringing a premium fish and chip takeaway experience to Mackay, with a unique New Zealand-inspired twist, and we're looking for the right person to help make it happen.

This isn't just another cooking job. We're looking for someone who takes pride in what they do, has great ideas, and wants to treat this opportunity as if it's their own business.

About the Role

• Full-time / casual position

• Help build and shape our new takeaway kitchen

• Prepare premium fish and chips using quality local seafood

• Bring creativity and passion to a New Zealand-inspired menu

• Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and efficiency

• Work alongside a supportive, family-owned business with an excellent local reputation

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has solid experience cooking fish and chips

• Has experience with, or a passion for, New Zealand-inspired takeaway food (highly regarded)

• Loves creating quality food and takes pride in presentation

• Can work independently and take ownership of the kitchen

• Is reliable, motivated, and enjoys being part of building something new

• Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
