Pathibhara Investment Pty Ltd t/a Fresh Chulo Restaurant, we are passionate about sharing the rich culinary heritage of Nepal and India with our guests. Our journey began with a vision to create a warm and welcoming space where people can savour the authentic flavours of the region. With a team of skilled chefs, we carefully craft each dish to showcase the traditional recipes passed down through generations.

We are currently actively looking for an experienced Chef to join our Glandore team in a full time role working 38 hours a week.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Develop menus and manage food procurement while assessing expenses related to food and labour.
• Execute food preparation, seasoning, and cooking with precision,ensuring quality from start to finish.
• Preparing different food according to the customer requirement
• Provide guidance on cooking methods and demonstrate culinary techniques to the team.
• Oversee kitchen activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Direct and delegate tasks within the food preparation process, maintaining high standards of quality and timely service.
• Train staff in menu item preparation and cooking, while innovating new recipes to enhance the menu.
• Manage inventory and place orders for replenishment, coordinating staff activities as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends, soliciting feedback to improve performance and offerings.
• Collaborate effectively with kitchen and management teams, participating in group training initiatives for teamwork and personal development.
• Fulfil additional duties as assigned, aligned with your skills and qualifications.
• Report any issues to the head chef

Requirements:

• Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent
• At least 3 years of experience if no relevant qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

A salary between $80,000 - $84,000 will be offered to the successful candidate.
