About NACCHO
The National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO) is the national peak body representing 148 Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs). ACCHOs deliver comprehensive primary health care to more than half of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples nationally.
About the role
Working closely with the Immunisation Team, The Project Officer, Immunisations will support the ACCHO Sector’s access to grant funding and an immunisation training program to increase the workforce’s capacity and confidence to deliver immunisations to increase national immunisation rates and reduce vaccine preventable disease amongst Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
This position is ideal for someone who is collaborative, organised and passionate about community‑led health. It requires strong stakeholder engagement, cultural understanding and the ability to coordinate multiple program elements in a fast‑paced, purpose‑driven environment.
