Quality Manager

Summary:

The Quality Manager will oversee the development and implementation of quality control systems, policies, and procedures in the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry. They will manage a team of quality control specialists, work with other departments to identify areas of improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control systems, policies, and procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Manage a team of quality control specialists and ensure the quality of the products and services produced by the company.
• Work with other departments to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions to address quality issues.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
• Provide leadership and guidance to employees on quality control standards, processes, and best practices.
• Develop and implement training programs for employees on quality control systems and processes.
• Maintain records of quality control activities, including test results, corrective actions, and other relevant information.
• Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process changes to improve quality and reduce defects.
• Participate in the development and implementation of new products and services, ensuring quality standards are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role within the manufacturing, transport, and logistics industry.
• Extensive knowledge of quality control systems, policies, and procedures.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and other relevant regulations.
