Production Supervisor

About the Role:

While supporting the Production Manager with daily production in the Seafood Packaging Area, the Production Supervisor will play a key role in leading people, utilising resources effectively, and achieving production targets.

You will support the business in delivering strategic goals and values, while leading an empowered, informed, and motivated team. This role also provides an excellent opportunity for further career progression within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the daily Seafood production plan across Retail Ready and MAP formats.
• Maintain staff training, GMPs, and Food Safety standards.
• Maintain a competent, engaged, and motivated workforce with strong safety culture.
• Monitor equipment and workforce efficiency, acting where required.
• Supervise daily activities to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
• Lead regular communication and resource planning based on production volumes, leave, and absenteeism.
• Work collaboratively with other Supervisors to achieve service, cost, and productivity targets.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in food processing
• Experience leading a large, multicultural workforce
• Experience with GMP, HACCP, WHS protocols and standards
• Managing a fast pace and dynamic environment
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
