Casual - Science Teachers

Moriah College is seeking passionate and engaging Science teachers to join our casual High School teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a dynamic and diverse learning environment, inspiring students to question, investigate and understand the world around them.

Whether your expertise is in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics you’ll have the opportunity to deliver stimulating lessons that encourage scientific thinking, curiosity and a genuine love of learning.

To be considered for casual teaching positions in our school, you will:

• Be passionate about inspiring young people to achieve their best.
• Specialize in teaching High School Science (Biology, Physics or Chemistry) 
• Hold a current NESA accreditation to teach in a High School environment.
• Current CPR certification.
• Have demonstrated experience in implementing educational best practice within your subject area.
• Provide high quality teaching and learning activities that are
  appropriate, promote independent learning and integrate relevant
  technologies
• Possess well developed interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
• Have a strong work ethic, displaying determination, self-motivation and curiosity.
• Support the Jewish Zionist ethos of the College.
