About the role

We're excited to welcome a Senior Library Technician to our Sunshine Coast Health Institute (SCHI) Library.
As the Senior Library Technician, you will utilise your excellent customer service and technical skills to support a range of library clientele.
The Sunshine Coast Health library services are based in the Sunshine Coast Health Institute at Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH). SCHI is a joint venture collaborative partnership between Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service, the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), TAFE Queensland (TAFE) and Griffith University (GU). Clinical education, training, and health research are integral to SCHHS and to SCHI partners. SCHI plays a vital role in training the next generation of staff and facilitating a continuous improvement culture at SCHHS through research and clinical education to support excellence in the delivery of care. SCHI is governed by a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA), which was entered into by the four partners. Students, researchers and clinicians from all of the SCHI partners use the library space and services.

Key Responsibilities include:
Remuneration value up to $46,469.60 p.a. comprising salary rates: $47.41 - $51.35 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (TO3) (Fixed term temporary part time position, 30.4 hrs p.f. for 6 months).
