Housekeeping Supervisor in Adelaide

Silk Hospitality is seeking an experienced and motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at a luxury hotel in Adelaide.

About the Role
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department. You'll lead and support your team, maintain high presentation standards throughout the hotel, and help ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations
• Lead, coach, train, and support housekeeping team members
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standard
• Conduct routine quality inspections and provide feedback
• Allocate daily workloads and monitor productivity
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries
• Liaise effectively with other hotel departments
• Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate records
• Manage incoming calls and ensure messages are actioned efficiently
• Uphold hotel brand standards and escalate operational issues where required

What We're Looking For

We're looking for people who take genuine pride in their work and understand that exceptional housekeeping is an important part of the luxury guest experience.
Depending on the position, you'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a hotel, resort, or similar hospitality environment
• Previous supervisory experience for Housekeeping Supervisor positions
• Strong administrative and coordination skills for Office Coordinator positions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• A keen eye for detail and pride in delivering high-quality standards
• The ability to prioritise tasks and remain organised in a busy environment
• A proactive, hands-on attitude and willingness to support your team
• Availability to work across a rotating roster (approximately 30+ hours per week, depending on the role and operational requirements)
• Valid Australian working rights
