About the Role

Big Box Cars is looking for a motivated Trainee Vehicle Buyer to join our growing buying team in Salisbury.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a salesperson or automotive professional looking to upskill and build a long-term career in vehicle buying.

You'll learn how to identify, value and purchase quality vehicles while working alongside an experienced buying team.

What you'll be doing

• Source and identify opportunities to purchase quality vehicles

• Build relationships with customers and external leads

• Conduct vehicle valuations and negotiate purchases

• Manage the vehicle purchasing process from enquiry to completion

• Complete purchasing paperwork and administration

• Work with the wider team to achieve buying targets

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

• Confident communicating and building rapport

• Comfortable making outbound calls and negotiating

• Passionate about cars and the automotive industry

• Customer-focused with strong attention to detail

• Motivated to learn and develop

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• QLD Motor Salesperson Licence

• Open C Class Driver Licence

Previous vehicle buying experience is not required — we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
