Labourer

EDMS Australia is looking for 2 experienced Labourers to join our workshop team. This is a hands-on role working with stainless steel, including pickling and passivation, material preparation, cleaning and general workshop duties. You’ll be part of a supportive team delivering quality steel products while maintaining a strong focus on safety and workmanship.

As a Labourer at EDMS Australia in Townsville, you will be an integral part of our Workshop team. This is a casual position that offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with general workshop duties such as cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Supporting skilled tradespeople in various tasks
• Handling and moving materials as required
• Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

The main tasks for this role involve:

• Performing manual labour tasks to support workshop operations
• Ensuring cleanliness and organisation within the work environment
• Following instructions from supervisors to complete assigned duties efficiently
• Maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
• Contributing to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration
