About the role
You're the first person our patients and families see and hear. A lot of them are worried, in pain, or trying to work out a system that doesn't make much sense to them. How you handle that first phone call matters more than anything else on this list.
Key responsibilities
Answering the phone and getting new enquiries booked in
Managing clinician diaries, rescheduling, and filling cancellations
Processing payments and Medicare and NDIS claims
Keeping patient records and referral details accurate in our practice management system
Handling the daily admin that keeps a busy clinic running properly
About you
Previous experience in medical or allied health reception
Confident on the phone, warm with people, calm when it's busy
Someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it
Available Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 6:30pm, at least three days a week
Right to work in Australia, and a current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to get one

Flex Allied Health is a multidisciplinary clinic in Liverpool. Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, psychology, exercise physiology, podiatry and dietetics, all under one roof, with a team of 18 clinicians looking after our community across South West Sydney.
