Pursuit Co is seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Field Service Fitter to join our team in Melbourne on a permanent, full-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled mechanical tradesperson with strong industrial experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working with high-speed machinery and providing quality service to customers.

About the Role

As a Field Service Fitter, you will provide professional field service support to customers across a range of industrial automation and production equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preventative maintenance and servicing

• Breakdown response and fault finding

• Mechanical and electrical repairs

• Equipment installation and commissioning

• Field testing and troubleshooting

• Equipment audits and upgrades

• Customer training and technical support

• Supporting customers across manufacturing and production environments

The role will involve local, interstate and occasional international travel.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant trade qualification, such as:

  • Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade

  • Electrical Fitter Mechanic

  • Other relevant mechanical or electrical trade qualification

• Proven experience maintaining, repairing or commissioning industrial machinery

• Strong breakdown and fault-finding skills

• Experience with preventative maintenance

• Experience working with production plant and high-speed machinery

• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• A proactive attitude and strong work ethic

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Willingness to travel as required
