We have an exciting opportunity for a Safety Advisor to join the Team at our Acacia Ridge, Queensland. Reporting directly to the Site Manager, you'll be part of a passionate group focused on delivering meaningful cultural change and elevating safety performance.

The key accountabilities and tasks for this role are to support the operations management team with:

• Facilitating key risk reduction projects through the development of action plans and execution of projects to sustain change

• Implementing the ANZ HSE Management System including policy and procedure with key stakeholders

• Achieving site specific plans, reducing risk and improving safety (e.g. high-risk hazards, hazard registers, property protection, injury reduction, Amcor HSE Standards actions) through coaching and training of Operations Team and Safety Representatives

The right candidates will be or have:

• A self-starter with a strong results orientation and attention to detail

• The ability to relate to people across all levels

• Strong negotiation and communications skills

• Comfortable with significant change and drive for Continuous Improvement

• Demonstrated experience motivating and influencing others

• Resilient with a strong ‘hands on’ style

Qualifications/Requirements:

• A diploma level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety

• A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in site safety management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
