About the role

Sydney Steel Windows & Doors is looking for an experienced General Hand to join our growing team in Alexandria, NSW. As a General Hand, you will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and ensuring the smooth running of our maintenance and handyperson services. What you'll be doing

• Assisting with general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, painting, and light assembly work

• Ensuring work areas are clean, safe, and well-organised

• Maintaining and operating a range of hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Providing excellent customer service and contributing to a positive team environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a general handyperson or maintenance role, ideally within the trades and services industry

• Strong practical skills and the ability to follow instructions and work with a range of tools and equipment

• Good communication and customer service skills

• A keen eye for detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude

• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation

• A valid fork lift licence.
