Details: The ACT Office of the Surveyor-General and Land Information (OSGLI) is recruiting for the next ACT Survey Practice Advisory Committee (SPAC).
The ACT is facing a significant period of adjustment as 'missing middle' initiatives and significant housing targets are rolled out. The changes will impact land surveying. At the same time building compliance issues, alternate pathways to surveyor registration and Automatic Deemed Registration will need to be addressed.
SPAC is an important mechanism to discuss issues and provide advice on the practice of surveying and legislation in these changing times. To better address these challenges, OSGLI is seeking diverse views from different types of surveyors, the surveying industry and profession, and related industries or professional groups. Therefore, the next SPAC is intended to have a more diverse membership.
