We're looking for a passionate and experienced Service Manager to join our dynamic John Deere team in Mackay.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Service Manager, you will:

• Efficiently manage and direct all aspects of workshop operations
• Ensure the highest level of service is provided to our customer base
• Deliver key performance indicators including productivity, efficiency, rework, WIP and billing cycle performance
• Lead, coach and develop a team of workshop employees
• Provide leadership, guidance and training to the service team
• Continuously develop and implement strategies to improve maintenance and service effectiveness
• Deliver expert service and support to customers and partners across the region
• Contribute to a culture of safety, innovation and continuous improvement
  

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has extensive experience in a management position within a heavy machinery workshop environment
• Demonstrates strong leadership capability and a passion for developing people
• Has proven experience building positive relationships with customers, colleagues and management
• Possesses strong communication and motivational skills
• Has experience managing budgets and financial performance
• Can evaluate operational performance and respond to changing business needs
• Has strong computer and administrative skills
• Is safety-conscious, solutions-focused and committed to continuous improvement
•  Takes ownership, drives results and leads by example
