Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm (some weekend work may be required)

We are seeking an experienced Loader Operator who also understands and can operate mobile crushing and screening equipment. The role involves working with jaw and cone crushers, screens and reclaimers in a bluestone/hard-rock quarrying environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Operating a front-end loader to handle and manage finished products.

• Stockpiling material and maintaining organised, safe and accurate stockpile areas.

• Monitoring material flow through the crushing and screening plant.

• Identifying changes in plant performance and adjusting operations accordingly.

• Using loader software to record product movements, quantities and other production information.

• Completing accurate daily production and operational records.

• Carrying out routine plant inspections and reporting faults or maintenance requirements.

• Working closely with the crushing team to meet production targets and product specifications.

We are looking for someone with strong loader operating experience who understands the full crushing and screening process—not just loader operation. Experience processing bluestone or other hard-rock materials will be highly regarded.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in roles within quarrying, crushing, mining or heavy industry.

• Previous experience operating relevant plant & equipment

• Strong understanding of hard rock quarry operations & production

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.

• Strong communication skills.

• A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

• Current driver's licence.
